Our farm has been actively producing fruits and vegetables for the area since 1914. We selectively bring produce from surrounding farms to additionally offer a wide assortment of produce in season.
Rhubarb begins in early spring, veggies in summer, and apple cider is always popular in the fall. Pumpkins, squash, and Indian corn are synonymous with autumn and the changing foliage of our surrounding Hudson Valley. Whatever the season, our fresh produce and fruits are the REAL stuff - not imported and wrapped in plastic. Come embrace the seasons and get reacquainted with “fresh and homegrown”.
On the first floor of our old barn an array of country store goods tempt the visitor. The wood stove in the corner has warmed many a friend and visitor. Shelf after shelf is filled with jars of jams, jellies, pickles, and sauces.
Old-fashioned stick candy has always been a favorite with the kids. Homemade maple syrup, honey, and a variety of cheeses and fresh dairy are among the goodies.
Our fudge kettle turns out tray after tray of homemade cream and butter fudge. Orange swirl fudge is popular in the warm weather and pumpkin pie fudge is a must for the fall. We are happy to grind coffee to your specification and as always enjoy a cup while visiting!
The picturesque acreage of Jones Farm was purchased in 1914 from a direct descendant of Oliver Cromwell of England. The bed and breakfast next door was the original mansion (Visit Cromwell Mannor).
Starting as a dairy farm, the land has seen many changes. The cows gave way to a poultry and egg operation and then the orchard and gardens. The many faceted homestead that greets visitors today is a charming country store, gift shop, art gallery, and bakery.
We have tried to remain true to our root as a working farm but at the same time have embraced the future to provide a destination for all age groups. Generations of families have been welcomed to our farm and we open our doors and invite you to come home to Jones Farm.
When you don’t know what to give, a custom-made gift basket is always appreciated. Our basket designers can prepare any of our food stuffs into an eye catching gift. We prefer to let the contents of the basket speak for themselves rather than cellophane and glitter.

At Jones Farm, there is an assortment of critters to enjoy!
Miss Polly, our 1,000 pound pig, is the star attraction! She can be found most days sleeping, eating or sunbathing in her mud bath. The miniature horses, Ranger and Satinka, enjoy grazing on the lawn, the chickens and ducks scurry everywhere, and the bunnies enjoy the shade of the birch tree.
In the store, our observation beehive fascinates kids and adults alike. Watch honeybees at work and marvel at the wonder and complexities of nature. Don’t forget to say hello to Percy the big orange cat.
